Why should this be included in the repository?: It'd be nice to have some method of testing gamepads and joystick button codes. Ah, and if anyone knows of any alternative gamepad testing solutions that work well, please suggest them.

Last release was 7 years ago. There's some sparse activity on there since, but unless they put out a new release, this isn't eligible for inclusion.
Hmm, well, I suppose I don't really mind, but I kind of need some kind of joystick testing application, and I don't know of any alternatives to jstest-gtk. Are you sure that the age of the last release prohibits its inclusion?
If it boils down to it, I could make a joystick testing app to put in the package manager.
EDIT: But, of course, I'd rather not if it's not necessary; are there any alternative joystick testing programs out there?
