zsh installs, but no /etc/shells by default
Closed, InvalidPublic

Description

Zsh installs through the software centre, but no /etc/shells is created. Consequently, it is not possible to change shells right off the bat. Thought I'd bring this to the team's notice since we are aiming to make installations as easy as possible.

Cheers!

You don't need /etc/shells. You can just run sudo chsh -s /bin/zsh youruser

Prompt and to the point. Thanks! Have got oh-my-zsh up and running now.
