Application for writing iso image to usb
Closed, InvalidPublic

Description

Hi, I just wanted to install Solus Mate. Downloaded it and went to look in software center.
Found gnome-multi-writer. But took for ages to write the image. (then the computer crashed) not because of this program.
Not sure if there is other software available.

But I think it should since you are provided Solus Budgie an Solus Mate as iso.

I like this little and efficient program mintstick https://github.com/linuxmint/mintstick
I install it also on Archlinux and Antergos.

Did I miss a Solus Budgie specific program to write an iso to usb?

Event Timeline

You can use dd to write the ISO to USB.

dd if=path/to/iso of=path/to/usb

I also find Gnome-Multi-Writer to be a bit lacking. From what I've read, the Suse ImageWriter is considered one of the best.
