It would have to be a Third Party install and the package updates would be a little risky (no version numbers) but it could be done, yeah.
Effective August 22, 2017, Code42 will no longer offer new – or renew – CrashPlan for Home subscriptions, and we will begin to sunset the product over several months.
CrashPlan for Home will no longer be available for use starting October 23, 2018.
Apparently they still offer business plans; but I'd rather see us get Duplicati available. It's FOSS & international.
I agree with @LanceHaverkamp that Duplicati is a much better choice as backup software and CrashPlan doesn't have a plan for home users anymore and would be third party.
