Installer doesn't automatically detect location

Description

I have tried this with both ISOs and with different WiFi and cable connections but each time the installer failed to automatically detect my location (Shanghai).
Edit: 1.2.1 (cannot comment on 1.2.0.5)

Because you're also in Shanghai, or a completely different location?

My bad. I'm in Denmark. It didn't have trouble detecting my location on 1.2.0.5.

I am in India and it does not work for me either. Reported this earlier via G+ But it is better to update here. so Here I am updating that it affects Users in India like me!

Had this issue as well during my installation last night, failed to detect my network location. Tampere, Finland. Was on a wired connection, Solus 1.2.1 ISO.

So we've resolved the issue, apologies for all the inconvenience. It has nothing to do with location, but its because solus-project.com was under maintenance, and then moved from WordPress.

Our GeoIP script was no longer available.

I've corrected this and it is now aliased at https://solus-project.com/geoip.php

Apologies once more. I'm going to close this, because this was an infrastructure issue.
