Any advantage over gnome-multiwriter? I've heard even from Martin Wimpress I believe, that Etcher is great for Windows but a pig to package on Linux.
I am not sure if gnome-multiwriter does validate the images after the burn, or if it can write sd cards.
This is exactly what I didn't want - the priority system is already being abused. Please don't touch it :/
I actually did it by accident, while i was playing around phabricator to learn it. I am sorry :(
It's a general statement to the wider audience :P You put it to Low, people who fully abuse it set to critical and high, the old BTS is full of critical security bugs for adding electron apps xD
I haven't had time to nail down the permissions yet but the basic process will be bugs start off In Triage and only the Triage Team can edit things
I use it and it works very well. It doesn't need packaging. You just have to download it , make it executable and it works out of the box. Instructions are on the site.
The benefit is it supports a more extensive set of images as opposed GNOME Multiwriter which just supports ISOs.
v1.0.0 is out. Opened for reevaluation.

I am still trying to get this application built, I realized something was wrong with what I put originally.
I have been busy and not able to work on it.
Thank you @joebonrichie for getting this in.
I have just been so busy lately I did not get a chance to work on my inclusion anymore.
