I'm going to need a better reason than what you have provided.

All they have to do to meet this claim is use something he designed. Which is a lot of things, and many of them have been replaced by better more secure things.
More Secure on-disk database then KeePass.
All this paper shows is that KeePass is vulnerable to one attack vector that PasswordSafe is not. It does not show that one is superior to the other. If I found a single case where the opposite was true, your whole argument is invalid.
Please consider the fact that we also have Seahorse and Qtpass.
All consider the fact we have KeepassX with is a completely separate implementation of Keepass that simply is compatible with KBD and KBDX formats.
Regardless of the redundancy, they are still currently in beta, which we don't package / include in the repo.
T7042 shouldn't be merged with this task; they are for different applications that happen to have the same name.
Hi,
i am using this password manager on one of my other systems every day and have a lot of passwords in there. (The file format is not compatible with other password managers)
Switching password managers is a time consuming task and might be a knockoff to someone who just wants to use Solus.
I surely understand that maintaining packages is a time consuming task aswell, but i really would like to see this password manager included.
Password managers are in general a key component to a system.
My current build of pwsafe fails, but with some assistance to build it, i volunteer to maintain it.
