I've tried building it myself but there are dependencies with Imagemagick (wand.h?) which are not present in the Imagemagick install currently in Solus.

Not surprised. The last release was 7 years ago. I doubt it works with never versions of GraphicsMagick and ImageMagick.

Either way, this is not eligible for inclusion since it is so old and no longer maintained.
