Is this something we fixed in git maybe and not in 10.2.6..?

All I can say is holy crap but we need a 10.2.7 release soon.

Pretty sure it was pinnable pre-10.2.7 but certainly can't argue with needing a new release.

Yea. I can in fact confirm that 10.2.7 resolves this issue. My laptop has a fresh Solus install with 10.2.6 and I don't have a pin-to-panel option. Desktop with Budgie git, I do.

Maybe completely irrelevant, but I usually don't have the pin-to-panel option unless I reboot my computer. But then it works.

Yeah things became less derpy in 10.2.7, which is the current git stuff. The fixes will come so we'll leave this issue open until then
