Presently, nextcloud is not providing their own client source, but theming the ownCloud-Client. So this is a pre-req to build the nextCloud client.

At some point, the owncloud client is going to become incompatitle with nextcloud. Some of us deploy nextcloud servers and would like to continue to do so on Solus and would prefer not to have to switch back to using a different distro.
For now Nextcloud is fully compatible with Owncloud-client, I don't see the point of having Nextcloud-client as it's exactly the same software with a diferent branding :)
However when Nextcloud will release a fully independant client, we could package it for Solus.
