Sd card reader is not working on Dell Vostro 5470 (ubuntu pre-installed notebook) which works on ubuntu based distros:
Solus lspci output:

Enable Realtek PCI-E card reader (specifically rts5209)Even dug through the kernel:

So it's definitely there alright. Please let me know if this is a full install and what kernel version you have
Latest kernel that comes by the update. As far as remember it was 4.8.2. Did a fresh install of Solus 1.2.0.5 last night, then updated the system by selecting all available updates. Tested SD Card reader before and after the update. Both tests after a clean restart.
Just tired to boot with solus usb-stick with an sd-card in the slot. I got following errors during boot. Without sd-card in the slot, it boots without any problem. (file attached)
I just format another Sd card with gParted (fat32, 2gb sd card) via usb card reader in Solus. safely removed, inserted into the sd-card slot and still no luck. BTW just reinstalled solus and updated again, did everything after a fresh install&update.
If this issue still persists on a fully upgraded Solus 3 (there's been countless kernel upgrades and changes since then), feel free to reopen.
