Get wayland working on nvidia OOTB

GNOME
Preliminary
  • Build libgtk-4 with wayland support
  • Build gdm with wayland support
  • Deprecate gnome-session-shell-experimental
  • Make new power management stuff available in nvidia-glx-driver
Make the switch
  • Enable new PM stuff by default to make GDM happy
  • Append nvidia-drm.modeset=1 nvidia.NVreg_PreserveVideoMemoryAllocations=1 nvidia.NVreg_TemporaryFilePath=/var/tmp to cmdline with nvidia-glx-driver
  • Drop gdm patch forcing Xorg by default
Bonus
  • Get rootless Xorg working on the nvidia driver when nvidia-drm.modeset=1 is set (GDM only?)
Plasma
  • Only nvidia-drm.modeset=1 is needed on the cmdline which will be part of GNOME enablement
