I don't see a similar app in the Solus repo. It could be included now because libhandy already in the repo.

Hi @solarmass we used to have this package in the repos (R1001). This package is deprecated for the moment.
It's true that now we have libhandy in the repos, so technically gnome-sound-recourder should be reintroduced for users.
Since this is a gnome package and @ZachBacon is the maintainer for gnome, he is the one who should decide what to do with it.
