This is an awesome XMPP client with a lot of features, as well as user friendly. Currently the repository only has gajim, this is an easily alternative.

It is open source and it is licensed under the GPL-3.0.

I think a lot of users would use as the XMPP protocol is becoming more and more used, as well as communities that are in this protocol.
