Apologies for being late to this, but since 42.0 was updated in the repository, was this fixed for you?

I did a clean install and still Adwaita has some issues:

Meld or Hardware Drivers Icons point to default one. Additionally Software Center icon looks like points to symbolic-icon?
Here how software center looked before update:

When I look for Meld in software center icon appears:

Just submitted this patch 3a5dac9db792 to resolve meld issue.
