Looks from the changelog like it might be possible to add vulkan and libdav1d support to handbreak. I am reflecting on Added support for reading AV1 via libdav1d and Added support for AMD VCE encoding on Linux via Vulkan. Might be worth a try to do it if you feel like it, but this is not a review of any kind, just a kind suggestion to improve the package while you're at it :)

No, I've already tried adding them - abireport hasn't changed. Although I see in the build log that it actually builds vendored libdav1d, so AV1 decoding should work (I don't have AV1 videos in my testing VM atm, but I can check that later).
Also they don't mention dav1d in their build doc, so it seems that they force usage of vendored dav1d and doesn't allow linking with system-wide library.
