Would prefer a more comprehensive test plan than just the test suite.

Sorry for the delayed answer, work kept me more busy than I thought.

Unfortunately, I do not use maxima and created the pull request because I saw that it depends on sbcl. A rebuild would be necessary and a new version was available.

Could you give me some more information what a good test plan would look like ? Any code which should run?
Then I could perform the tests next week and update the PR.
