This is too lenghty to be called summary. I'd rather link to the changelog.
Any reason for not using the tarball as source ?

@kyrios123 For other packages @JoshStrobl preferred longer changelogs instead of just a link. It a bit difficult here to extract just the core changes. In this case it's probably better to just use a link then.
I kept git as the source because the build script requires that it is build in a git repository. Otherwise make will fail

Considering how many versions behind this is, I agree. Let's stick with a changelog link.

As for git link, that's not a problem.
