  • Install hunspell-pt-br
  • Check if the dictionaries are in /usr/share/hunspell/
  • Open Atom and write something (pt-br)

master.zip files aren't accepted. We need versioned tarballs or in the case that none are provided upstream, we should self-host them on our sources directory.

License and tarball

This looks like you have just put the files into a GitHub repo. Why aren't we using upstream?

The original author uses the .oxt format (last update 2013). I had to extract the dictionaries and put them in GitHub. I do not know if it's the best option.

Can I provide tarballs in my GitHub repository? The original author only offers in .oxt format (2013)
