python 3 build was dropped as it is not supported by this package
python-html5lib was added as rundep as you asked although it's an optional dependency. Since only calibre has a dependency with this package and html5lib improves the perfs, I think it's a wise decision.
Some tests related to twisted/zope.interface are failing. Don't know if we should worry about it or not.
