@simniotiqu at this point I have landed all the deps that you have submitted. If you have any more to do, let me know. Otherwise, a quick test against the landed deps would be appreciated :)

Did run another test on a fresh unstable install still get the errors I described in the task. Reported upstream.
Core functionality works, tested with hp scanner.
