T3758: Indicator KDE Connect
Summary

This Indicator is written to make KDE Connect usable in desktops without KDE Plasma, such as Ubuntu Unity and Pantheon. It started as an AppIndicator, but you can send files and URLs easily through KDE Connect with kdeconnect-send.

So the "browse device" feature is finally working on my OnePlus One with the "Show device directories" option of the 0.9.3 release. Due to kdeconnect by nature, being kind of buggy - at least until they do a major rewrite of core functionality, my plan is to separate the experimental app from the kdeconnect package into kdeconnect-app and give users the choice of choosing between the experimental kdeconnect app and indicator-kdeconnect.

Edit the .desktop file slightly to distinguish between the experimental kdeconnect app (both were originally called KDE Connect Indicator and using the same icon)

If this is the better option on other desktops, you could consider removing the app altogether.
