- Launch Yuzu from GUI
- Tweak some settings under Emulation > Configure
- Close Yuzu. Relaunch and make sure settings stuck
- Connect and configure a controller
- Load a game (that you dumped yourself, legally. Piracy is illegal and all that)
- Make sure things run as well as they should
- Tweak configuration, make sure things still work, repeat as desired
