R3347:d8cf1e6a2377: Update to 3.2.12 and add patches for mount-boot command and service
Summary
  • Add patches to enable mounting of /boot, see https://github.com/clearlinux/clr-boot-manager/pull/251
  • Update to 3.2.12, which:
    • Adds microcode early loading
    • Fixes an issue with legacy BIOS (and other systems where /dev/root is the device /proc/mounts has for the rootfs) causing crashes and update failures.
Test Plan

Run clr-boot-manager mount-boot, clr-boot-manager update and clr-boot-manager list-kernels on VMs with all install options:

  • BIOS
  • BIOS, LVM
  • BIOS, LVM and LUKS
  • UEFI
  • UEFI, LVM
  • UEFI, LVM and LUKS
