I have tested this revision and confirmed everything is working as well.

As a note 0.12.4 is now released but currently has build issues on Solus (and Arch fwiw). See https://github.com/vector-im/riot-web/issues/5091

Also with this revision D881 can be closed as it appears to be abandoned.

0.12.5 has been released, but still has a build issue: https://github.com/vector-im/riot-web/issues/5098

Edit: this was fixed with 0.12.6
